2016 Workshop Programme
The workshop programme is designed to provide the opportunity for members to be involved in the research programme and also to be updated on relevant issues of interest to them.
Centre meetings will typically include expert presentations, practitioner briefings and working sessions. We also target to hold some of our workshops on member premises. Part of the workshop is then given over to the host member providing the opportunity to demonstrate their particular approach to customer management to the full membership.
The 2016 schedule is as follows:
Inaugural workshop (March 2nd, 2016)This workshop gives all members the opportunity to suggest topics and issues that will be considered as possible research topics or as presentations topics for the rest of the 2016 programme.
New Member workshop (March 3rd, 2016)This workshop is targeted at new members or new representatives of existing members. The day is spent on a review of prior years research output to bring all attendees up-to-date with the work of the centre.
Site visit / workshop (April 28th, 2016)This visit will be hosted by John Lewis at their Oxford Street location and will include presentations from John Lewis and from other guest speakers (industry and academic) and an update on the research programme.
Site visit / workshop (June 23rd, 2016)This visit will be hosted by Microsoft at their Reading location and will include presentations from Microsoft and from other guest speakers (industry and academic) and an update on the research programme.
